Each year parish councils from Warwickshire nominate a past Chair to be put forward into a draw to attend the Royal Garden Party. This is to thank them for the voluntary work they do for the community. We have done this for many years and not been successful.
Councillor Jean Thomas was lucky enough to be drawn out of the hat back in 2020 just before Covid-19 hit. The ticket has been on hold until this year. She was accompanied by the Clerk, Sue Humphries.
It was a very special day to remember.
