On behalf of Kingsbury Parish Council, we are delighted to announce we have been successful in obtaining funding from HS2’s Community Environment Fund
(CEF) for the project.

Kingsbury Parish Council has received £84,625 to refurbish our recreation ground of new playground equipment.

We have also been successful in obtaining a grant from Councillor Stuart Green Warwickshire County Council Councillors’ fund of £4,000 towards the project.

This project will transform the site into a modern, inclusive and welcoming play space by removing the old equipment and installing a range of new play features. The new play area will include a zipwire cradle and flat swings, accessible roundabout, a toddler play unit and a junior play unit thus ensuring children of different ages and abilities could play together in a safe environment.

HS2/Balfour Beatty VINCI are also helping with some initial ground works.

I would like to personally thank HS2 and North Warwickshire Borough Council for all their assistant and helping Kingsbury Parish Council in this funding application.
